Kyujutsu
The Japanese bow (Yumi) is over 2 metres in length, which is taller than most people. Traditional techniques to shoot a Yumi is based on practical purposes, such as warfare or hunting.

In our workshops, you'll learn the basics of Japanese Archery, as well as some advanced techniques such as:

What Is This Event?
Learn how to shoot a traditional Japanese bow based on Samurai methods.
When & Where Is It?
Date: 31st July 2021, Saturday
Timing: 11am to 12noon (arrive at 10.45am)
Location: The Cage, 38 Jalan Benaan Kapal, nearby Stadium MRT station.
Attire: Casual attire. Archery is a minimal physical exertion activity. Maybe light sweating is to be expected.
Price: $30 per person
Who Can Attend?

Anyone above 15 years old in good health.

Each session maximum 10 pax, in 2 groups of 5 pax (as well as adhering to other Covid guidelines)

Newbies welcomed. No need any prior Archery experience.

We reserve the right to postpone/refund, if there are less than 8 sign-ups.

Safety Rules

All participants must be wearing a mask properly at all times.

Participants from 1 group are not allowed to intermingle with another group.

Please arrive at 10.30 to 10.45 for briefing.

Non-compliance with any of the Covid-19 regulations may result in the cancellation of the workshop without refund.
